Dr. George Kakis, DC, is a chiropractor committed to helping patients move better, function more comfortably, and pursue a higher quality of life and performance. His approach begins with a detailed assessment of body and joint movement to better understand how movement patterns may be affecting comfort, mobility, and day-to-day activities.

Dr. Kakis earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from North Park University before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at National University of Health Sciences. His background in exercise science shapes a practical, movement-focused approach to care that combines hands-on treatment with guidance patients can apply outside the office.

He has additional training in acupuncture, Dynamic Muscular Stabilization (DNS), the McKenzie Method, Chiropractic Biophysics, Active Release Techniques (ART), Quantum Neurology, and Koren Specific Technique. Dr. Kakis uses these varied tools to tailor care to each person’s needs, goals, activity level, and movement capacity.

Depending on the patient and their individual plan, care may include manual chiropractic adjustments, soft-tissue techniques such as trigger-point therapy, cupping, and instrument-assisted soft-tissue work (“scraping”), as well as corrective exercises designed to improve movement patterns. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Dr. Kakis focuses on how the body is moving, then develops a plan intended to support better joint function, mobility, resilience, and performance.

Whether you are dealing with discomfort that is limiting work, exercise, or daily life—or you simply want to move more efficiently and feel stronger in your body—Dr. Kakis aims to provide clear, individualized care and practical next steps.
